Arrival and Dismissal
Children should arrive at school 5 minutes before school and the whistle is blown at 8:45 am. Parents bringing children to school are requested to leave as soon as the whistle is blown as the children line up by their classes. When collecting children, parents are requested to wait in the courtyard area/playground, ready to greet their children at 3:25 pm.
Cycling to School
Year 6 children who have taken their cycling proficiency course and have received their 'Cycle Safe' card may cycle to school when parents have written to the school giving permission and accepting responsibility for their child's safety. Parents of children not having received this award should contact the school before sending their child to school on a bike.
Medicals
A partial examination, mainly sight and hearing, is carried out during the children's first years at school and parents are informed if there is anything causing concern.
Dental inspections are carried out in school at regular intervals and parents are advised of any concerns.
