The Helicopter
On 18th November 2008, the childen at St Mary's had a surprise visit from Mr Keane (Mrs Keane's nephew) and his colleagues in a Royal Navy helicopter.It was a wonderful experience to watch the helicopter fly in and land. They stayed and showed each class around it. One child in class R remarked 'I am the luckiest boy alive' as he got to sit in the helicopter.The children then watched as the helicopter took off again. It was a memorable day for all. Thanks to Mrs Keane for arranging it and especially to Mr Keane and his colleagues for taking the time out to visit us with their helicopter.
