Star of the Week
Our Star's of the week are Nicky Dawes and and Isabella Brophy.
Nicky wrote an amazing narrative based on Poole's story in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The setting description was fantastic - 'It was a dull day, cloud everywhere and the mist consuming the trees. Dr Jekyll, who is a scientist, was very ill so his butler, Poole, had to look after him round the clock.'
I was so impressed with Nicky and this shows how much he has learnt over the year - well done.
Isabella also impressed me with a wonderful narrative and her is an exert from it - 'Suddenly there was a rapid knock at the door. Slowly, Utterson opened the door. To his surprise, Poole (Jekyll's butler) was at the door with news. The type of news you hate. Bad news.' I was really pleased with Isabella's variation of sentence structure - congratulations!
