School Games Gold Award

We have just achieved the GOLD award from “Your School Games” for our PE & Sport at St Mary’s.
This is an amazing achievement for all involved and one that really makes us stand out from the rest.

Term 4, Year 5 & 6 Sports Hall Athletics Team

Well done again to our years 5 & 6 Sports Hall Athletics Team coming third at last terms event. They have now received their medals.

Term 4, Year 2 Football

Well done to our year 2 football team. Playing some excellent football at Dover Athletic FC this afternoon. Every player got better as the competition went on and played in great spirit.

Well done all. Very enjoyable afternoon on and off the pitch βš½οΈπŸ‘βš½οΈπŸ‘

Year 2 Tennis

Year 2 have finished a brilliant terms tennis. Has been a real pleasure seeing them improve their tennis skills, coordination and team work. They’ve also managed to walk both ways and shown excellent road safety and determination to beat the hill!!

Thanks to Karen for fun and creative lessons throughout the term. Kids have loved it πŸ‘πŸ‘

Sports Hall Athletics Competition

Well done to our yrs 5&6 Sports Hall Athletics team this morning.

WINNING our heat by a lot of points πŸ†πŸ₯‡we now await results from this afternoon’s heat to see where we have come overall 🀞

Between the boys and girls teams we won a total of 10 out of 16 track races. Which is an outstanding achievement and shows how hard they’ve worked/trained πŸ‘

Term 4 Horse riding at Cornilo RDA

Congratulations to our fab 4 for completing level 1 stages of horse riding & horse care. It’s been fabulous to see all 4 children gaining confidence weekly and impressing all the instructors in the process. Well done all πŸ‘πŸ™Œ

Swimming Gala Term 4

Well done to our amazing KS2 Swimming team. Competing at the Dover School Games Gala this morning. Doing the school and themselves proud.

Special mention to the team who made the decision to stay and watch the ceremony knowing they didn’t win a medal. But to be good sports and clap friends from other schools πŸ‘πŸ™Œ

Crickson Cup Semi-Final

We’ve only gone and done it.

Boys played out of there skins to beat a very good Kingsdown side. 3-2 on penalties after a 0 - 0 scoreline at FT.

Well done boys, again as always. SUPER proud of you all, that’s what happens when you believe in yourselves and play for each other βš½οΈπŸ™Œβš½οΈπŸ™Œβš½οΈπŸ™Œ

Dover School Games Cross Country

Well done to our super year 5 & 6 Cross Country team. Horrendous conditions and weather didn’t stop them all doing a FANTASTIC job and cheering each other on throughout πŸ™Œ

Thanks to our amazing kitchen team also for the kids VIP treatment at lunch πŸ™Œ

The Kevin Edwards Trophy

Well done to our yrs 3 & 4 mixed football team. Narrowly losing in the semi finals this afternoon. All players playing some great attacking football and didn’t stop battling for each other. Real credit to the school πŸ™Œ
